First of May, 소름 돋는 Sara Brightman...

 

 

안개비가 내리는 주말아침인지라 왠지 조금은 센티멘털해지는 기분입니다만

그래도 조금씩 녹음이 짙어가는 싱그러운 오월입니다.

 

제발 이 화사한 계절에 어울리지 않는 '마데인지나(made in China)' 황사라는 악명 높은 녀석을

더 이상 만나지 않았으면 참 좋겠네요, 아주 지긋지긋합니다...

 

아무튼, 5월하면 생각나는 노래로는 'Bee Gees'의 <First of May>가 떠오르게 되는데

오늘은 이 시대 최고의 요정으로 손색없는 'Sara Brightman'의 노래로 들어봅니다.

 

예쁘고 노래 잘 하는 '사라브라이트만'이야 굳이 설명할 필요도 없는 뮤지션으로서

전 장르를 초월하여 무수히 많은 레퍼토리를 소유한 최고의 가수가 아닐까 생각합니다.

 

<Time To Say Goodbye> <Nella Fantasia> <Alhambra>... 등은

우리가 익히 들어 아주 좋아하는 곡들로 그녀의 노래를 듣다보면 소름이 돋곤 하지요.
